Yasar Shareef

Yasar Shareef leads Concept & Growth, the Dubai-based business development arm of Trico Global Trades, the Tirupur knitwear manufacturer he founded that produces around 50,000 pieces daily. In business since 2011, Yasar has grown the group into a trusted partner for major retail groups across the GCC, now expanding into Europe and the United States. His approach is deliberately relationship-led: sourcing decisions, he believes, are made by people, not spreadsheets.

Yasar counts APJ Abdul Kalam and Ratan Tata among his biggest inspirations, admiring the former for his humanity and the latter for the values he held. He's married to Amina and a father to two sons, and outside work he enjoys reading. His outlook is simple: understand a person before you pitch to them, and the business follows.
