Ashwin Sancheti

Ashwin Sancheti is the Founder and Managing Director of Spotlight Entertainment LLC, one of Dubai's most energetic forces in live entertainment. The company specialises in large-scale concerts, festivals, comedy shows, and the curation of unique intellectual properties in events and exhibitions. Since founding Spotlight in 2018, Ashwin has produced over 50 musical concerts and more than 100 comedy shows, a remarkable milestone achieved in just seven years.

Ashwin was born in Mumbai and has called Dubai home for the past 16 years. Starting from scratch, he steadily built his experience across multiple industries including events, entertainment and interior design. He is also the Co-Founder of Muzik One Global, an international record label, and has investments in the interior design and retail sectors.

Ashwin holds a B.Com, a Master's in Retail Management and is also a qualified Gemologist. His diverse background across industries makes him a well-rounded business professional. He works closely with corporates, real estate firms, automotive companies and government agencies.

Inspired by Ratan Tata's humility and vision, Ashwin believes in investing in people more than profits, a philosophy that quietly drives every show he puts on stage. He lives by a simple motto: Set your goals high and exceed them.

Away from the spotlight, you will find him at a billiards table, on a padel court, lost in a motivational book, or quietly indulging his well-kept secret: a love for shopping.
