Ashwith Shetty

Ashwith Shetty is a Managing Director at Engphil Trading LLC, a company specialising in the distribution of Mobil lubricants. The company was established by him with a cadre of technocrats and has grown to become a one-stop solution across industries. Widely known for its established presence in the lubrication distribution sector, the company also offers an array of solutions and services including sales, repair of Variable Frequency Drives & customised electrical solutions.

Getting a glimpse of the kind of work carried out at Engphil makes complete sense considering Ashwith’s educational background. A student of science, he has earned a Bachelors in Engineering (Mechanical). He has harnessed the power of his academic background by pairing it with a solid 30 years of work experience.  

Ashwith moved to the UAE 26 years ago and has spent most of his work life growing his own business brick by brick. As a result, Engphil Trading LLC has been honoured multiple times by Danfoss for its exceptional work in the region. Apart from his avowed dedication to his enterprise, Ashwith is also a family man. Married to Harini Shetty, he also is a caring and attentive father to 15-year-old Aarav. 

When he’s not working or spending quality time with his family, Ashwith can be found binging on sci-fi TV shows, belting out songs at karaoke, or reading a book in a quiet corner.  Perhaps, you may find him thinking up new ideas, because like he always likes to say - ‘ If you fail to plan, you plan to fail.’
