Ranganathan Ramachandran

Ranganathan Ramachandran — fondly known as Ranga — is a Partner at Ethics Plus Group, a multidisciplinary professional services firm based in Dubai. 

Founded in 1995, Ethics Plus Public Accountants delivers a comprehensive range of services including audit and assurance, accounting, tax advisory, and more. The firm is the exclusive Dubai member of INPACT Global, a respected international alliance of accounting firms. 

In 2017, the Group expanded with the launch of Ethics Plus Consulting, which provides transaction advisory, deal support, and market entry consulting to clients across various sectors. 

Before joining the family business and rising through the ranks to become a Partner, Ranganathan built a strong academic foundation. He earned a BS in Systems Engineering and a BA in Economics with a minor in Mathematics from the University of Pennsylvania, in the USA. He later qualified as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the United States. 

Today, with over 14 years of professional experience, Ranganathan draws deep inspiration from his father’s legacy — a journey from modest beginnings to building a respected firm in the UAE. Motivated by that example, he has helped to grow the family business and spearheaded its expansion into advisory services. His strong sense of purpose and discipline were instrumental in executing a complex sell-side transaction involving three distinct shareholders — one of his recent milestones. 

Ask anyone and they will tell you that Ranganathan is more than just his work- he is also an active member of the Penn / Wharton Alumni Club and the IBPC. He’s a dedicated family man, married to an equally talented lawyer Urvashi Ramachandran, and a doting father to two young boys.  

In his spare time, Ranganathan enjoys partaking in Euro board games, travelling to new locations, and spending quality time with his family. Whether in life or at work, Ranganathan adheres to his personal philosophy: ‘while numbers provide clarity, I believe it’s timely action and a people-first mindset that create real results.’
