Ravi Punjabi

Ravi Punjabi is the Managing Director of Avalon Group of Companies, a diverse conglomerate spanning general trading, transportation, and service industries. A Merchant Navy graduate, Ravi brings 38+ years of valuable business experience to CorporateConnections®. His business journey began with Avalon International General Trading LLC in 2002. Under his leadership, the company has become a dynamic player in FMCG and home care products, partnering with renowned brands like 3M, P&G, Colgate-Palmolive and more.

In 2004, Ravi expanded the group’s reach with Avalon General Land Transport, now a top name in cross-border transportation with major clients such as DHL, FedEx, and TNT. His other innovative services include the Avalift Safe Driver App and Wheels of Avalon: Luxury Limousine Company Services in 2023.

One of his proudest achievements is the creation of employment for 500 people. He is deeply inspired by Kabir Mulchandani, Founder and Chairman of FIVE Holdings, a man who never gave up despite the odds against him. Ravi values perseverance and remains driven by his life motto, "Never look back as there is always light at the end of the tunnel" .

Outside his professional life, Ravi unwinds by riding his motorcycle, travelling, swimming, exploring new cuisines, and bar hopping. He is happily married since 25+ years to Sangeeta, a devoted homemaker. The couple is blessed with two daughters, Prerna aged 24 years and Shreya aged 21 years.
