Amit Sharma

Amit Kumar Sharma is the Managing Director of Spark Electricals Trading L.L.C, founded by his late father Satish Kumar Sharma in 1977. Over the years, the company has turned into a supplier of choice for several major Construction, MEP Contracting, Telecommunication, Interior Fit-out, Facility Management and Property Management companies.

Today, Spark Electrical Equipment represents many world-class brands such as ARISTON, OSRAM, LEDVANCE, VORTICE, O GENERAL, MIDEA, SUPER GENERAL and ECOLUX, while also serving as a stockist and dealer for numerous other brands.

Born and raised in Dubai, he credits his success to the values instilled in him by his parents. His takeaway from his father’s life journey is ‘If you believe you can, you are halfway there’ and from his mother, she imbibed the resilience to fight back despite challenges.

Amit and his life partner Manisha, who has built a successful career in real estate, have been together since their teenage years. They are blessed with two wonderful children, a daughter, Ananya aged 18 years, and a son, Vansh aged 15 years.

Music, podcasts, cigars, watches and cars are some of the things that interest him. He also engages in regular physical activity to stay fit and healthy.
