Rakhesh Ramanan

Rakhesh Ramanan is the Managing Director of The Special Cables Company DMCC, a global supplier of cable and connectivity solutions, from MV/LV power cables to structured cabling, fibre optic, and BMS systems, for the energy, infrastructure, industrial, and data centre sectors. With 20 years in business behind him, Rakhesh took the reins at TSCC seven years ago and grew it more than tenfold, landing major projects along the way by understanding customers' challenges and creating value beyond the product itself. His academic path spans a BTech from NIT Calicut, an MBA in Strategy from Strathclyde, an Executive Leadership Program at Oxford, and a General Management Program at IIM Ahmedabad. Ask him what drives that growth, and he'll say it simply: once he sets his mind on a goal, he doesn't stop until he achieves it.

Rakhesh is inspired by leaders who improve people's lives through business, a philosophy that shows up in his own quiet habit of connecting people and creating opportunities for others without expecting anything in return. He's been married to Adela since 2015 and is a proud father to Diyara. Outside work, he's happiest meeting inspiring people, traveling, reading, staying fit, or settling into a meaningful conversation over coffee, all in service of a motto he lives by: build trust, create value, and make a positive difference.
